Our luxury 43 foot cruiser stern is named after Harry and Sally Trivett, who originally owned the field where our award winning Bosworth Marina now sits. Harry and Sally Trivett were the grandparents of Ben and Josh Trivett who built the marina.
What a perfect way to sit back and admire the leafy Leicestershire landscape on board Harry & Sally as she cruises along the Ashby Canal. Straddling the canal, the hedgerows and reeds add to this gentle green landscape, rich in wildlife including herons, kingfishers and moorhens. Below the surface, coarse fish species include bream, roach, chub and pike. There's always plenty to see from the comfort of the front deck and your journey will be full of surprises as the canal meanders through this picturesque countryside.
Not only are the towpaths and surroundings rich in wildlife, but they're also steeped in history. Discover some fascinating information about the history of the canal itself, as well as medieval farming methods, and of course Richard III was here! - the canal line touches the western edge of Bosworth Field, where Richard III met his match at the hands of Henry Tudor in 1485.
The Harry & Sally is available for full or half day hire with or without a steerer as required.
