The West Midlands is located at the heart of the country, meaning it’s extremely well connected to the UK and the world. As the gateway to the region, Birmingham Airport has 50 airlines fly to over 150 destinations worldwide and is the only UK airport to have direct rail connections into Birmingham New Street, a major rail hub within Birmingham City Centre with connections to the rest of the region.
Once here, delegates will benefit from the region’s established transport connections, making it easy to move around the region. Substantial investment continues to develop the region’s infrastructure, with the first stage of the £17billion High Speed 2 rail project, which will bring the West Midlands to within 38 minutes of London.
Unique delegate experience
What really makes the West Midlands stand out as a business destination is the overall delegate experience that the region has to offer, from the warm and open local welcome through to the lasting impression made on all those that visit.
As one of the most diverse regions in the UK, the West Midlands’ global, outward-looking communities have lots of stories to tell. With one of the busiest festival and events calendars, there’s always something for locals and delegates alike to enjoy. A region proud of its gastronomic past and future, there’s a wider variety of culinary experiences, including luxury dining at one of the 5 Michelin-star restaurants here in the West Midlands.
The region also offers a range of fantastic incentives, from Land Rover Experience Days at Solihull to luxury culinary experiences.
