About

Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery (BMAG) first opened in 1885. It is housed in a Grade II* listed city centre landmark building featuring over 40 galleries that display art, applied art, social history, archaeology and ethnography.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (UK) reopens 24 October! 🖼️🏛️

After an exciting transformation, several galleries will be accessible in this phased reopening.

The revamped Industrial Gallery is a new highlight of the attraction, it houses the new 'Made in Birmingham' display celebrating the people and products that make our amazing city.

The iconic Round Room is back too, as well as brand-new spots like the family-friendly Wild City and digital Pixel Studio.
