Opheem is the first Indian restaurant outside of London to be awarded a Michelin star and the first in Birmingham to receive two Michelin stars - Owned by Atkar Islam, an award-winning English chef, Opheem explores Indian culinary heritage with a unique modern approach. Aktar Islam uses cooking techniques from all over the world to push the boundaries of Indian cooking in an adventurous tasting menu format that has led the restaurant acclaim not only in the Michelin Guide but one of the few restaurants in the West Midlands to appear consistently in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100 list.
